Project Title: BTNI: Big Tech Playlist

Synopsis: A cohort of films supported by Doc Society UK that address, from a diversity of perspectives, the impact of Big Tech–a handful of powerful corporations whose business model is reshaping society.
Goals: Partner with organizations across the UK & Europe, organize screening events, and inspire citizen action with regards to the narrative around Big Tech and the companies that manage it.
Main themes: social media, algorithms, AI, internet, power of big tech, citizen agency
Core audience: youth, educators, workers, researchers, policymakers.
What we are doing: Design and execute an impact campaign that includes six films from which organizations can choose for screening and discussion; organize screening tours; support the events of individual films from the group.
